Sproket Launched by Sope

We are very excited to announce the public launch of Sproket — our intranet-in-a-box solution built for SharePoint & Office 365.

Sope Web Technologies has been creating digital workplaces and enabling team collaboration using SharePoint for over 8 years. Along the way we have learnt a thing or two about how staff work together and how SharePoint enables them to be successful at what they do.

We work with a diverse range of businesses all day, every day, but their problems are often consistent. Basically, businesses want a collaboration portal (an intranet) where teams can view news, upcoming events, policies and procedures, upload and work collaboratively to build documents and lists etc. Sure, each customer has differs but the majority of requirements are the same with the last 10–20% that can be configured specifically to meet certain requirements.

Traditionally, we would start from scratch with each customer, of course applying our knowledge and experience from previous projects. Companies can spend months, if not years, implementing an intranet from scratch. This process is time & resource intensive from both a consultants perspective and our clients. Time is money and with so many hours spent just to get off the ground, it can be a very expensive process.

Some organisations will always have unique and complex needs for their intranets. These instances will continue to necessitate custom development efforts. However, for the vast majority of organisations, intranet deployment focuses on the same set of business problems. We wanted to develop a product that would offer a powerful feature set, targeted at these most common intranet use-cases.

So, for the last 12 months we have been very busy building Sproket!

Sproket combines the power of the SharePoint platform with Sope’s expertise of how to align intranet implementation with key organisational needs. Sproket offers a ready-to-deploy intranet that’s fully featured and exceptionally cost effective.

Sproket was built for SharePoint On Premise and Office 365 that can be installed in just 10 minutes via the Sproket Management Portal. It comes loaded with an extensive amount of functionality. Not to mention our awesome page builder, an extension of Microsoft’s Publishing pages, making building content super easy.
